From humble beginnings in our small corner cafe on Candleriggs, Spitfire Espresso rapidly became a focal point for people from all walks of life with a passion for excellent company and exceptional coffee.
Our house blend is comprised of a calculated and balanced combination of Brazilian beans, cultivated at the Vila Boa Carbon Neutral farm in the Campos das Vertentes region and Colombian beans sourced from various fully traceable Farmgate Inititave cooperatives across the country.
The blend of 70% Brazilian / 30% Colombian is the perfect ratio for a delicious cup of coffee that offers notes of sweet, chocolaty, nuttiness from the Brazilian and a subtle spice along side a rounded acidity from the Colombian, perfect for milk based drinks such as flat whites and lattes.
The green beans we roast are 100% arabica, sourced from an international coffee depot that deals directly with farmers and cooperatives all over the world, ensuring great quality greens and fair working conditions for farmers.
